Main advantages of the microsphere as a material are very low bulk density, excellent insulating and acoustic properties, high heat resistance and high sinterabillity. These features cause that the microsphere is an excellent filler or lightweight composite materials with excellent isothermal properties. It found a specific use in the production of refractory materials, building industry, aerospace and automotive mastic.

ZUMiR Company operates since 1995 on the basis of entry in the register of economic activities with No. 002117 and it is one of the largest producers of microsphere in Poland.

ZUMiR specializes in the acquisition, processing and sales of microsphere. We have a raw material mainly from Poland and Kazakhstan. Annual processing of Polish microsphere is approx. 4000-5000 tons, and Kazakh microsphere – 8000-10000 tons. Our sales markets are primarily concentrated in Europe and North America.

In addition to the main activity, which is the acquisition and processing of microsphere, the company also deals with recovery and economic use of other wastes produced in the combustion process of black coal in the energy sector. These wastes include, among other ashes and slags, slags or fly ashes used in the construction industry, macro-leveling and restoration of degraded lands.

APPLICATION OF MICROSPHERE

Medicine Microsphere is used as a carrier for drug active substances, which allow delivering it to selected tissues.
Sport It is a component of among other things hulls of boats, canoes, bowling balls and equipment for golf.
Material Microsphere is used in the production of nylon and it is also a filler of plastic materials such as BMC and SMC.
Energetics It is used in industrial coatings, abrasive and explosive materials. Moreover, it is an element, which is used to create blades for wind turbines.
Automotive A very wide use in the automotive industry, for example: brake pads, tires, paints, casting molds and composites.
Building industry It is used in the building industry as a component for acoustic, insulating and refractory materials, as well as an element of thermal insulation materials with a very heat resistance and fire resistance.

PChemical industry It is an element of lacquers, glues, filters – PVC foams. Moreover, it is used in lubricants and lubricating agents.
